Vicar General:  Rev. Msgr. Patrick J. Gaalaas,V.G.
The Vicar General is appointed by the Diocesan Bishop to assist him in the governance of the whole diocese (canon 475). The main function of the Vicar General is to be of assistance to the Diocesan Bishop in his executive governance role (canon 479). He has ordinary power to perform all administrative acts proper to him. The Vicar General serves as moderator of the curia (canon 473).

Chancellor:   Mr. John M. Johnson
The Chancellor is appointed by the Diocesan Bishop and reports to him. The responsibilities of the office can be described as the Diocesan Bishop's chief of staff with delegated power, caring for the day-to-day management of the departments of the chancery, insuring that the acts of the curia are drawn up, dispatched, and kept safe in the archive (canon 482).

Judicial Vicar:   Rev. Michael J. Knipe
The Judicial Vicar is appointed by the Diocesan Bishop to constitute one tribunal with the Bishop. He possesses ordinary power to judge cases (canon 1420). He may be assisted by an adjutant and by judges appointed to constitute the diocesan tribunal (canon 1421).

Chief Finance Officer:   Mr. Thomas Schadle
The Finance Officer administers the goods of the diocese under the authority of the bishop in accord with the budget determined by the Finance Council and, from the income of the diocese, to meet expenses which the bishop or others designated by him have legitimately authorized (canon 494). The Diocesan Bishop appoints the Finance Officer after hearing the College of Consultors and the Finance Council.
